Paracelse is a parapharmacy store specialized in wellbeing, beauty and cosmetics, with hundreds of carefully selected products meant for a better health and look.
Challenge — During the Covid crisis, physical stores had to figure out a way to boost their sales and stay in business, and what better way can it be than a strong digital presence? That’s why Paracelse Parapharmacy wanted to create an ecommerce site that allows users to explore, order products online and get everything delivered to their doorstep, we’re talking about an something robust, dynamic, delightful, and easy to use.
Approach — With thousands of ecommerce websites that are constantly fighting for the user’s attention, it was crucial to stand out from the crowd, and get one step closer to the consumer, by understanding his needs, behaviour, and pain points. I kicked off with some research in the healthcare & beauty industry, exploring the best ways to showcase the products, in terms of photography and information architecture. Sat down with the client to discuss multiple art directions, where we determine what will ultimately and simultaniously satisfy both business goals and user experience.
Result — The website’s user interface reflects the brand’s physical store in its clearity, with a dynamic homepage showcasing the latest additions, offers of the week, etc... Only showing “la crème de la crème” in terms of content, with a great information architecture that filters products through several options and collections, just to make sure users can find the right product as quick as possible. A powerful yet minimalistic approach to ecommerce websites that gets the job done, a bridgehead of the brand’s success in terms of conversion rates and sales.
